Consider this your one stop guide to recital season. Show assignments, tickets, dress rehearsal, and recital day are all covered below, so you can spend less time wondering and more time applauding.
Tickets are sold directly through the Straz Center Box Office and include assigned seating.
Ticket links and sale dates will be emailed to DDA families. Every audience member, including babies and toddlers, must have a ticket.
DDA presents two recital shows. Each dancer is assigned to one show based on their class.
Your dancer’s show number will be listed on the outside of their costume bag. Please confirm the correct show before purchasing tickets, as all ticket sales are final.

Dress Rehearsal is required for all dancers and takes place at DDA Westchase.
Only one parent or caregiver may attend due to space and fire code limits.
Dancers will check in through the Straz Center Stage Door at their assigned time. Dancers with multiple routines should arrive in their first costume. All additional costumes, shoes, tights, and accessories must be clearly labeled.
Rolling costume racks are not permitted.

Backstage access is limited to DDA staff and approved caregivers.
After the recital, dancers will be dismissed through the Stage Door. Only one parent or caregiver should come to the pickup area.
Recording is not permitted during the performance.
The recital is professionally filmed, and families may order photos and video through our approved media company.
