Our goal is to create a safe and nurturing environment where students can learn the foundation of dance and how it can benefit their health while having FUN! Dawson Dance Academy offers a wide range of dance and theatre classes to fit every child’s needs as well as different teams if a child is looking to explore dance further. Our female owned studio is equipped with teachers who are experienced with not only dance but child development. And all of our programs, year- round, are overseen by a Florida certified teacher K-12 and a Behavioral Specialist certified in Florida.

OUR SCHOOL
With our highly professional, qualified teaching staff and 4 state of the art classrooms, our students at DDA easily develop a great appreciation for all aspects of dance and art. This makes Dawson Dance Academy the premier dance training facility in Tampa Bay; serving Tampa, Westchase, Palm Harbor, East Lake, Lutz, Odessa and Oldsmar.
TRAINING THAT IS SECOND TO NONE
One recital a year! One dress rehearsal that includes a photo session that never lasts more than an hour and one recital on the only Broadway stage in town that only lasts 2 hours! AND never any ticket number requirements or hair or makeup changes! Quick, fun and a night to remember for your dancer and your family and that’s why we love the “The Dawson Difference”.
STRESS-FREE RECITALS
You can watch your dancer in class from anywhere in the world that has wifi! Dad can be on a plane watching from his phone, Grandma can be in Ohio watching from her phone and mom can
be at the store watching her child dance and getting that weekly shopping done too! This service is included in your tuition! “The Dawson Difference” is so cool and techy!

IN EVERY STUDIO
For the safety of our dancers, there is a required uniform to participate in our dance programs. All uniforms must be purchased from our uniform store below. Follow the prompts, click on your class, put in your child’s sizes and it will ship directly to your door step in a week! No driving around or wondering if your dancer has high quality dance apparel! The Dawson Difference makes preparing for dance classes super easy!
